From 7th to 10th July 2025, members of the DREAM project gathered in Lyon, France, for a consortium meeting hosted by IRCELYON. This event offered an opportunity to share updates and discuss the latest results from each work package. The agenda also highlighted key topics such as innovation and strengthened collaboration among early-career researchers involved in the project. The meeting further included two dedicated interdisciplinary days designed to take a step back and reflect collectively on common challenges in the context of DREAM project, such as common problem definition, decision making, sustainability and data management. Henk-Jan van den Brink (University of Twente) presented his work at the 4TU Energy Community Day, on April 3rd 2025 in the Netherlands. Henk-Jan is doing a PhD in the framework of the DREAM project on the philosophy of science, investigating interdisciplinarity. He participated in the 4TU Energy Community Day on April 3rd 2025 in the Netherlands, an event about energy and materials transition. Henk-Jan displayed a poster presenting the DREAM project and presented his philosophical research and methodology. Partners of the DREAM project gathered in Lisbon, Portugal, for the second consortium meeting of the project. This meeting was hosted by LNEG in the beautiful city of Lisbon, from 2nd to 4th December 2024. Each team presented its work progress and learnt more about the philosophy of science, with rich discussions on the next steps of the DREAM project. The consortium also had the opportunity to visit LNEG’s facilities in Lisbon and enjoyed the nice weather and Portuguese traditional food. 

The DREAM project’s kick-off meeting was held in Villeurbanne, France, on the 10th and 11th April 2024. All partners of the consortium were represented in this meeting. It was an opportunity for partners to gather and discuss the project activities, marking the begining of the project. The meeting started with an Ice breaker game for the consortium members to get to know each other better. Members of the consortium then presented each reaserch group and the different work packages of the project.
